I aim to create images that are satisfying in their absence of resolve. The information unveiled in the pause is a heightened reality. The multiple images are to be read like a poem, with the space between the images acting as a pause in the middle of a line. The breaks between images allow a breath to be taken before moving on. Each image contains people and places that carry a familiarity—they pull chords for personal reflection, or they project new environments to explore.

We are most sincere during experiences that bring all our senses into full awareness of the current moment. When our guard is down, this level of frankness can border on awkward. For in these situations we are allowing to unfold layer upon layer of densely packed information usually kept hidden. By choosing to capture such moments, I am prolonging each point in time. The viewer can then take my place. My works invite you to exist with each person and place during this intimate process.
